It’s a time for intentional recalibration, deeper self-awareness,

and listening closely to what your body and mind truly need.


Here’s what’s ahead this month:


 MAY 4 -9: Mercury conjuncts Chiron in Aries


Early May begins with a significant alignment: Mercury meets Chiron, the Wounded Healer, in the fiery sign of Aries. This is a potent window for healing old mental narratives, especially those tied to identity, assertiveness, and self-trust.


You may become more aware of:

• Stress patterns, especially fight-or-flight responses

• Burnout or adrenaline crashes (watch cortisol levels!)

• Old wounds around speaking up or being seen


Headaches, inflammation, or sharp sensations in the body may signal deeper emotional or mental tension. With Aries ruling the head and sharp objects, be especially mindful of potential head injuries or accidents involving things like knives, scissors, or needles.


If you're engaging in physical training, avoid increasing weight or intensity abruptly, this isn’t the time to push your body to its limits.

May 10–22: Uranus, Hygeia & the Sun Interplay in Taurus


Mid-May is charged with transformational potential as Uranus (awakening and disruption), Hygeia (holistic health), and the Sun (vital force) converge in grounded, sensual Taurus.


This powerful trio invites a radical rethinking of your wellness routines, especially those tied to the body, the senses, and your relationship with stability and nourishment.


Expect:

• Sudden insights around health, healing, or somatic practices

• Shifts in how you relate to food, touch, rest, and physical pleasure

• A deeper interest in energy work, detox, or frequency-based healing methods


Watch for imbalances like:

• Sluggishness, thyroid sensitivity

Overindulgence or avoidance patterns around pleasure and rest

May 22: Hygeia Enters Gemini

(this transit lasts until late August)


With Hygeia, the asteroid of health & healing, shifting into airy Gemini, the focus turns to mental hygienenervous system care, and the healing power of communication. This is a powerful time to bring awareness to the health of the mind and breath.


Gemini governs:

 Thoughts, speech, and cognitive processing

Mouth, tongue, vocal cords, and communication patterns

Lungs and breath: in both a physical and emotional sense


Watch for:

• Mental overstimulation

• Difficulty slowing down or resting the mind

• Compulsive thinking or a need to control via logic

• Burnout from overstudy, screen time, or multitasking

• Watch for information overload, digital burnout and anxiety


According to Chinese medicine, the lungs are connected to grief  and breathwork is one of the most powerful ways to process and release unspoken emotion.


Supportive practices:

• Nervous system support

• Prioritize rest for your nervous system

Declutter mental and digital spaces

• Go walk for walks, open up the windows, bring in fresh air• Mental hygiene: Reassess how your thought patterns impact well-being

Support the lungs and breath (breathwork, singing, fresh air)

• Conscious speech & mindful conversations
